Control panels form the heart of the fire detection system. Panels can generally be expanded (to a point depending on the base unit) by adding modules. We can offer a range of control panels including those with interactive graphic display panels for pictorial presentation of zone information. Arguably the most important part of fire detection technology lies with the fire, smoke and heat detectors. Photoelectric and ion detectors see smoke, but not all fires produce it. Heat detectors, on the other hand, spot temperature changes, but these aren't always an indicator of a life-threatening event. Multi-sensor devices, however, collect data on several different environmental parameters at the same time. Other advanced technologies for fire detection include thermal imaging cameras and long wave infra-red cameras. We will recommend the most suitable detector for the situation.
